Crime Prevention Stall and ASB patrols

On Monday 29th June the St James Ward Officers paired up with Westminster City Council and My local Bobby in Leicester Square, Chinatown and Covent Garden. The focus was on street-based anti-social behaviour, cycle enforcement, and the enforcement of our ASB, Controlled Drinking and Pedicab Public Space Protection Orders, as part of National Anti-Social Behaviour Week. As a result, 6 Community Protection Warnings and 1 Community Resolution was issued, alongside multiple interactions with street population.

Alongside the deployment, we hosted a crime prevention and community safety engagement event, focusing on Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) awareness, drink spiking awareness, and general crime prevention advice.
